This week, IN Department of Health released an RFP for the Local Food Purchase Assistance Cooperative Agreement Program. Only state and tribal governments may apply, so the state has requested that 5 designated state regions (Indianapolis is in the 9-county Central Region) shall be allowed to submit 1 proposal each. Submissions are due by August 1, 2022.
Coordinating a regional plan with enough stakeholder input will be challenging - can you help us connect with farmers and stakeholders in the 9 counties? Our collaborating partners are: Boone, Hamilton, Hendricks, Putnam, Johnson, Shelby, and Hancock.
